Welcome to Lake View Hostel, just 2 hours from Medellin right on the waterfront of Lake Guatape. Only a 5 minute walk from the main plaza, we are ideally situated to enjoy both the picturesque town itself as well as all the outdoor activities in the area in a peaceful and tranquil setting where horses and cows roam free. And at nearly 2,000 meters the climate is ideal: shorts in the day and a light sweater at night, perfect for our huge list of activities.
In addition to being the epicenter in Guatape for activities, we also offer scooter/motorcycle rentals, have a Thai restaurant on the 3rd floor terrace, and we have the best breakfast burritos in Colombia! The restaurant is open to non guests too, so even if you aren't staying with us come on by for a great breakfast or a nice Thai curry for dinner.
The hostel features standard private rooms as well as boutique style rooms with balconies, unique bathrooms, and original artwork. We also have 4, 6 and 8 person dorms with comfortable mattresses, sturdy wooden bunk beds and lockers or private lockable closets with charging stations. Free wi-fi throughout the hostel and restaurant.
